CNJ5 Adopts 3 Series Configuration
CNJ5u-H (HSK-A50 grinding wheel spindle specifications)  
CNJ5u-W (Double-ended tapered grinding wheel spindle specifications)  
CNJ5u-A (Specifications with grinding wheel and coolant nozzle automatic changer)  
"MSPS" interactive programming system provided as standard feature for all models.


Steady Grinding Accuracy and Grinding Efficiency

  • Unique control axis structure
    Highly rigid swivel arm with work spindle head is mounted indepe-ndently, providing steady movement.
  • Highly rigid structure
    The bed, column, and swivel arm and other main machine compo-nentshave adequate rigidity to ensure high levels of both grinding accuracy andefficiency.
  • High output grinding wheel spindle
    A high output grinding wheel spindle (15kW) is provided on machi-nes with H, W, and A specifications, ensuring reliable support for heavy duty grinding.

  • Temperature of grinding wheel spindle is adjusted automatically.
    Automatic temperature controller is provided for the grinding wheel spindle, and displacement due to heat is prevented by constant au-tomatic control of the temperature.
  • Large volume coolant supply
    Any rapid change in temperature is prevented by supplying a large volume (400 L) of coolant at high pressure (3.0 kW). Machining size tolerance due to changes in grinding heat and coolant temperature can also be minimized by mounting the optional automatic coolant temperature regulator.

    Grinding Precision of Ball End Mills Enhanced

  • Highly rigid swivel arm
    This rigid structure, on which an independent swivel arm is provided on the bed, enables steady high-precision rotation when the center of gravity moves during rotation.
  • Linear axis provided on swiveling axis.
    An original linear axis (U axis) is provided on the swivel arm to enable indexing of the R center at any time even for workpieces using diffe-rent tool lengths. Furthermore, control for R peripheral machining are integrated into two axes: the swivel arm (W axis) and main work spindle (A axis), minimizing any loss in grinding precision.
